I Challenge You To Find a Way To Waste $374.99 Any Worse Than Buying This Hat

Who did this? Who decided we were going to start selling hats made out of jerseys. I want a name and I want it right now. Do not allow that person to make any ideas moving forward. I want a fully enforced idea ban on that person until further notice. Like in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy when they have to get past the idea mine. We need that around this ideasman 24/7. 

I know there's the old saying, "there's no such thing as a bad question" but when someone in the merch meeting asks if they should start making jersey hats you have to take control and hold them accountable. The pinstripes don't even cover the full brim of the hat! It's a horrible design as it is, but at least cover the brim the whole way. That's bothering me way more than it should. 

I haven't even gotten to the best part yet. These hats cost money to buy. United States dollars. Robbie's tweet has it listed at $374.99, but when you go on the website they're actually on sale for that price! The original is $500. FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS

You could buy a laptop for less money. You could buy a PS4 for less money. You could buy a robot vacuum that will clean your entire house for half that amount. You could pay off credit card debt, make an extra mortgage payment, invest in stocks. There is some much you can buy with that money and to choose that hit is jail worthy. 

FIVE. HUNDRED. DOLLARS. There should be a test where anyone who clicks "add to cart" and checks out to buy it is automatically put on a watch list and added to the volunteer group headed to Mars with Elon Musk. If you see this hat in public near Yankee Stadium you are within your right to call the police.
